A house move in Abu Dhabi costs between AED 1,500 for a 2-bedroom home and AED 6,000 for a five-bedroom villa, charged as a single flat fee. The fee covers the full crew, a covered truck (or several for larger homes), all packing materials, furniture dismantling and reassembly, white-goods handling, road tolls and fuel — confirmed in writing before move day and unchanged on the invoice afterwards.

Three bedrooms, often two living areas, a larger kitchen and more white goods. A washing machine is disconnected and reconnected, heavier wardrobes are taken apart, and the load is planned room by room so everything lands in the right place.

Gate passes, move-out permits and fees differ by community — and getting them wrong stalls a move on the day. From years of house moves across the capital, here's what each one actually requires.
Khalifa City
Much of Khalifa City is open, non-gated housing, so gate passes usually aren't required. The exceptions are gated compounds such as Al Forsan and Al Rayyana, where a gate pass and a move-out NOC are essential before the crew can enter.
