What Furniture Do We Move?
These are the pieces we move most often in bedroom, living room and whole-home furniture moves.
Sofas and sectionals
L-shaped and corner sofas are covered, carried through the door or lift, and the legs are put back on at the new place.
Beds and mattresses
Frames are taken apart, headboards are padded and mattresses go in covers, then the bed is reassembled in the new room.
Wardrobes and cabinets
Doors come off, shelves come out, and the wardrobe is reassembled and levelled. Tall and sliding door units are priced from a photo.
Dining tables and chairs
Legs are taken off, the top is wrapped and the chairs are moved together so the set arrives complete.
TV units, wall TVs and shelves
We take wall-mounted TVs and shelves down and put them back up at the new place.
Glass, marble and mirrors
Glass tables, marble tops, mirrors and artwork are wrapped in bubble wrap and carried upright.

Glass, marble and mirrors are wrapped in bubble wrap, padded with blankets and carried upright, never flat. Heavy marble tops are strapped in the truck so they cannot slide.

Yes. Antique and solid wood pieces are padded, wrapped and strapped in the truck. Tell us about any piece that is old, fragile or has been repaired when you send the photos.
