Terms & Conditions for True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC
These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines that apply when you engage the transportation and moving services provided by True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Moving Services
Our comprehensive moving services are designed to help you transport your belongings safely and efficiently. Please read these terms carefully, as they form the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding our services.
2. Delivery
- Designated Delivery: We will deliver your items strictly to the address or person specified by you in Writing/WhatsApp.
- Alternate Arrangements: If delivery to the specified location or recipient becomes unfeasible, we may find you a storage facility store your items temporarily. In such instances, a daily storage fee along with a one-time re-delivery fee will be applied until further instructions are provided.
3. Charges & Service Areas
- Initial Estimates: A preliminary quote will be provided prior to service commencement. Please note that the final cost may vary based on the number of trucks, crew members, and materials required.
- Additional Items: Should you add items beyond the original quote, extra charges will apply. These charges are based on the volume of additional items, calculated in half truck loads.
- Operating Hours: Our standard operating window is from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Services requested outside these hours or that exceed the standard timeframe will incur overtime charges.
- Inter-Emirate Services: If your move involves pickup or delivery outside Abu Dhabi, a fixed “Inter-Emirate Charge” will be added as detailed in your quote.
- Included Services: Our quoted price includes labor, truck usage, loading, and unloading at the destination(s). Services such as insurance, handyman assistance, or unpacking are not covered unless explicitly mentioned. Additional fees, such as stair carrying charges, may apply for items that cannot be moved via elevators.
4. Authorization of Operators
Our operators affirm that they hold all required licenses, permits, and permissions necessary to provide transportation services on our behalf. This ensures full compliance with local regulations and validates our authority to enter into this agreement with you.
5. Delays and Schedule Changes
- Unforeseen Delays: Should delays occur due to factors beyond our control (excluding our own actions), you may incur a reasonable additional fee.
- Rescheduling: If you alter the scheduled date for your move, additional charges may be levied to cover any extra expenses incurred due to the change.
6. Service Execution and Third-Party Operators
- In-House Services: We pride ourselves on our dedicated, in-house team who execute the majority of our moving services, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Third-Party Assistance: In rare instances when our schedule is fully booked, we may engage third-party operators to assist. Regardless, the Company remains responsible for managing the service quality and ensuring your satisfaction.
7. Risk & Liability
- Limited Liability and Customer Acknowledgment: We strives to provide professional and careful moving services. However, the transportation of your belongings is undertaken with the understanding that inherent risks exist. In cases where damage or loss is proven to be a direct result of our company’s negligence during the moving process, we will provide compensation up to a maximum of 70% of the originally quoted moving price. For example, on a moving quote of 1,200 AED, our maximum compensation would be 840 AED (example is only for illustratvie purposes). This limited liability does not extend to damages resulting from factors outside our control, including but not limited to, improper packing by the customer, pre-existing damages, or acts of nature. The customer acknowledges their responsibility to obtain comprehensive insurance coverage for the full value of their belongings.
- Assumption of Risk: By utilizing our services, you accept all risks associated with the moving process.
8. Insurance and Disclaimer
- No In-House Insurance: Please note that the Company does not provide insurance coverage for your items.
- Customer Recommendation: Although we exercise the utmost care to avoid damage, we strongly advise that you secure a comprehensive third-party insurance policy that covers the full insured value of each item during your move. Typically, these policies cost approximately 3% of the total insured value of your possessions subject to insurance provider’s policy you choose.
- Limited Coverage Option: In cases where only limited coverage is available, please be aware that it is designed to cover only minor visible damage. This limited protection may provide for repair or replacement of individual items up to a maximum total value of 1,500 AED, regardless of the number of items affected.
- Your Responsibility: While we take great care in handling your belongings, we recommend that you obtain adequate third-party insurance to cover potential damage or loss during the move. Our company’s liability for damage or loss is limited to damage caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by our team. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or events beyond our reasonable control. Customers are responsible for verifying that their insurance coverage is sufficient
9. Payment Terms
- Advance Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the quoted price is required to secure your booking.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cheque (payable to True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC), bank transfer, or credit card as applicable. Detailed payment instructions will be provided with your quote.
10. Cancellation Policy
- Notice Requirement: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move will incur a cancellation fee of 500 AED.
- No-Show: If you are unreachable on the day of the move, the service will be deemed cancelled, and a 500 AED fee will apply.
11. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms & Conditions represent the full and final agreement between you and the Company, superseding any prior arrangements or communications.
- No Additional Representations: Except as expressly provided herein, no other warranties, representations, or conditions, whether written or verbal, shall apply.
- Dispute Resolution: Should any disputes arise during or after the provision of our services, written notice must be provided within 7 days. Notwithstanding any dispute, both parties agree to continue performing their respective obligations under these Terms & Conditions.
12. Excluded Items and Customer Responsibility:
For the safety and security of your belongings and our personnel, the following items are strictly excluded from our moving services:
- Valuables: This includes, but is not limited to, jewelry, gemstones, precious metals, antiques, art, small electronics (mobiles, tabs, laptops) and collectibles.
- Financial Instruments: Cash, bank notes, checks, credit/debit cards, and any other negotiable instruments.
- Personal Documents: Passports, identification cards, legal documents, contracts, and sensitive personal information.
- Extraordinary Sentimental Value: Items that would be impossible to replace due to their emotional significance.
- Customer Obligation: The customer is solely responsible for the safe removal and transport of all excluded items prior to the commencement of the move. Any excluded items found on the moving truck or within the customer’s belongings will be immediately returned to the customer.
Disclaimer of Liability: True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC expressly disclaims any and all liability for the loss, damage, or theft of any excluded items, regardless of the cause. The customer acknowledges that these items are not covered by our moving services or any potential insurance coverage provided by the company.”
