(True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC, trading as “Expert Movers and Packers Abu Dhabi”)
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of moving and packing services by True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC, trading as Expert Movers and Packers Abu Dhabi (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or using our services, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Moving Services
1.1 We provide professional moving and packing services to transport your belongings safely and efficiently.
1.2 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company for our services.
2. Delivery
2.1 Designated Delivery: We will deliver your items strictly to the address or person specified by you in writing or via WhatsApp.
2.2 Alternate Arrangements: If delivery to the specified location or recipient becomes unfeasible, we may store your items temporarily at a storage facility. A daily storage fee plus a one-time re-delivery fee will be applied until further instructions are provided.
3. Charges & Service Areas
3.1 Initial Estimates: A preliminary quote will be provided prior to service commencement. Final costs may vary based on the number of trucks, crew members, and materials required.
3.2 Additional Items: Adding items beyond the original quote incurs extra charges based on additional volume.
3.3 Operating Hours: Standard operating hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Services outside these hours may incur overtime charges.
3.4 Inter-Emirate Services: For moves involving pickup or delivery outside Abu Dhabi, a fixed “Inter-Emirate Charge” will be added as detailed in your quote.
3.5 Included Services: Our quoted price includes labor, truck usage, loading, and unloading at the destination(s). Services such as insurance, handyman assistance, or unpacking are not covered unless explicitly mentioned. Stair carrying or special handling fees may apply where elevators are unavailable.
4. Authorization of Operators
Our operators affirm that they hold all required licenses, permits, and permissions necessary to provide transportation services on behalf of the Company, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
5. Delays and Schedule Changes
5.1 Unforeseen Delays: If delays occur due to factors beyond our control, you may incur a reasonable additional fee.
5.2 Rescheduling: Changes to the scheduled date of your move may result in additional charges to cover extra expenses.
6. Service Execution and Third-Party Operators
6.1 In-House Services: We primarily use our dedicated, in-house team to ensure quality and consistency.
6.2 Third-Party Assistance: In rare instances of full booking, we may engage third-party operators. Regardless, the Company remains responsible for managing service quality and customer satisfaction.
7. Risk & Liability
7.1 Limited Liability: While we strive for professional and careful service, moving involves inherent risks. If damage or loss is proven to be a direct result of our negligence, we will provide compensation up to a maximum of 70% of the originally quoted moving price (e.g., on a 1,200 AED quote, maximum compensation would be 840 AED).
7.2 Exclusions: This liability does not cover damages from factors outside our control, including but not limited to improper packing by the customer, pre-existing damage, or acts of nature.
7.3 Customer Responsibility: Customers are encouraged to obtain comprehensive insurance coverage for the full value of their belongings.
8. Insurance & Disclaimer
8.1 No In-House Insurance: The Company does not provide insurance coverage for your items.
8.2 Recommendation: We strongly advise you to secure a comprehensive third-party insurance policy to cover the full value of your possessions during the move.
8.3 Limited Coverage Option: Limited coverage, where available, may provide minor protection for repair or replacement of items up to a maximum total value of 1,500 AED, regardless of the number of items affected.
8.4 Your Responsibility: Our liability is limited to damage caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by our team. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or events beyond our reasonable control.
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the quoted price is required to secure your booking.
9.2 Payment Methods: Payments may be made via cheque (payable to True Expert Furniture Movers LLC OPC), bank transfer, or credit card, as applicable. Detailed payment instructions will be provided with your quote.
10. Cancellation Policy
10.1 Notice Requirement: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move.
10.2 Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move will incur a cancellation fee of 500 AED.
10.3 No-Show: If you are unreachable on the day of the move, the service will be deemed cancelled, and a 500 AED fee will apply.
11. Excluded Items and Customer Responsibility
11.1 Excluded Items: For safety and security, the following items are strictly excluded from our moving services:
Valuables (jewelry, gemstones, precious metals, antiques, art, small electronics, collectibles)
Financial instruments (cash, bank notes, checks, credit/debit cards, negotiable instruments)
Personal documents (passports, IDs, legal documents, contracts, sensitive information)
Items of extraordinary sentimental value
11.2 Customer Obligation: You are solely responsible for removing all excluded items prior to the move. Any excluded items found will be immediately returned to you.
11.3 Disclaimer of Liability: The Company expressly disclaims liability for loss, damage, or theft of any excluded items, regardless of the cause.
12. General Provisions
12.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the full and final agreement between you and the Company, superseding any prior arrangements or communications.
12.2 No Additional Representations: Except as expressly provided herein, no other warranties or representations apply.
12.3 Dispute Resolution: Written notice must be provided within 7 days of any dispute. Both parties agree to continue performing their respective obligations under these Terms until the dispute is resolved.
